Sharon Boone is the founder and visionary behind Unbridled Farms, a mission born from both personal passion and lived experience. The dream of Unbridled Farms was first conceived in 2005, and over the past 19 years, it has grown into a purpose-driven organization shaped by perseverance, dedication, and an unwavering belief in second chances.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

A successful local business owner, estate manager, and lifelong equestrian, Sharon brings a unique blend of professional expertise and hands-on experience to her work. Her years working alongside horses, counselors, legal professionals, and at-risk youth have deeply informed the development of Unbridled Farms and its mission to create meaningful transformation.

FAMILY & COMMUNITY

North Georgia has been Sharon’s home for more than 35 years and holds deep personal significance as the place where she raised her family. She is the proud mother of five—three sons and two daughters—whom she credits as shaping the woman she is today. She is also “Lovey” to three cherished grandchildren.

A LIFE-LONG CONNECTION TO HORSES

Sharon’s passion for horses has been a lifelong journey. An avid equestrian, she has owned four off-the-track Thoroughbred racehorses, successfully retraining three into competitive show horses in equitation and hunter jumper disciplines. Her deep respect for all equine breeds and equestrian sports is rooted in a family background in Quarter Horse and Morgan Horse breeding.
